Meredith is a senior at Baker High School, and for her Fairhope senior portrait session, she chose the downtown area, which happens to be one of my favorite locations for seniors who want variety without feeling rushed. Fairhope offers an impressive range of backdrops in a small, walkable area, which makes it ideal for a relaxed and efficient session.

One of the biggest advantages of downtown Fairhope is how close everything is. Within just a few blocks, we’re able to move seamlessly between locations, capturing multiple looks without spending valuable session time driving from place to place. This allows the focus to stay on the senior and the portraits themselves, rather than logistics. The result is a session that feels easy, well-paced, and relaxed. Meredith’s session featured a mix of the green spaces, classic architecture, and charming streets that give Fairhope its signature look.

This session was also especially meaningful for me, as I previously photographed Meredith’s sister, Allison, for her senior portraits. Being invited back to photograph another senior in the same family is something I never take for granted, and it’s always a privilege to be part of these milestones more than once.

Congratulations to Meredith on an exciting year ahead as she finishes her high school journey and looks toward what’s next.
