Ashley’s senior portrait session in Fairhope was such a fun one—and a little extra special for me, too. She’s a senior this year at Baldwin County Virtual School, and I was so excited to get the chance to photograph her after having taken her older sister’s senior portraits. Getting to work with the same families again is always one of the best parts of what I do.

Ashley has spent much of her high school experience staying active. She plays volleyball and enjoys working out and staying active. She was confident, relaxed, and completely at ease in front of the camera, which made everything flow smoothly from start to finish.

Fairhope was the perfect backdrop for Ashley’s senior portraits. Between the charming streets, soft light, and classic coastal feel, it offered a great mix of clean, timeless settings without feeling overdone. We kept the session easy and laid-back, focusing on natural movement and simple poses that felt true to who Ashley is.

The goal of every senior session is to capture personality without things feeling stiff or forced—and Ashley nailed that. The final gallery was full of natural smiles, great energy, and classic images her family will enjoy for years to come.

It was such a joy photographing Ashley in Fairhope and working with her family again. Senior sessions like this—fun, relaxed, and personal—are always a reminder of why these portraits matter and why I love doing what I do.
